His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Labor, Dr. Abdullah Abuthnain, met today, Tuesday, February 25, 2025, with Her Excellency the Director-General of the International Organization for Migration, Ms. Amy Pope, and her accompanying delegation, at the Ministry's headquarters in Riyadh.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Abuthnain welcomed Her Excellency Ms. Amy Pope, and the two parties discussed a number of issues of common interest that would enhance the Ministry's relationship with the International Organization for Migration. During the meeting, the most prominent initiatives recently launched by the Ministry in the field of protecting and promoting workers' rights in the Saudi labor market were reviewed. The most prominent projects to be included in the memorandum of understanding to be signed between the Ministry and the International Organization for Migration were also discussed.
This meeting comes within the Ministry's efforts to enhance cooperation with organizations and partners at the international level in the field of the Ministry's work, in a manner that achieves the common interests of all parties.
