His Excellency Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, received today Sunday, the 8th of September 2024, Mr. Zhang Hua, new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China, at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Vice Minister for Labor, Dr. Abdullah Abuthnain, the Acting Vice Minister for Social Development, Eng. Sultan AlJorais, and a number of officials from both sides.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Minister welcomed the Chinese Ambassador, discussing the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries and topics of mutual interest.
The two sides explored opportunities for bilateral cooperation in areas related to the labor market, social development, and the general scope of the ministry's work.
The meeting ended with His Excellency Al-Rajhi extending an invitation to the Chinese Ambassador to attend the second edition of the International Labor Market Conference, hosted in Riyadh from 29-30 January 2025.
It is worth noting that this meeting is part of the Kingdom’s larger ongoing efforts to develop its relationships and partnerships with friendly countries to achieve common interests, fully aligning with the goals of Vision 2030.
