On Thursday, August 8, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abu Thnain, Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Labor, met at the Ministry's headquarters in Riyadh with Mr. Azar Bayramov, Director General of the OIC Labor Center, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of several officials and specialists from the Ministry.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Minister welcomed the Director General of the Labor Center. They discussed several topics of mutual interest, such as the role of Saudi Arabia as Vice President of the Executive Council of the OIC Labor Center. The discussion also covered the reforms undertaken by the Kingdom in the fields of labor and social protection, as well as joint initiatives and future cooperation opportunities.
It is noteworthy that the center is a new specialized entity affiliated with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, focused on implementing the organization’s decisions and programs in the areas of labor, employment, and social protection.
