His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Labor, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abu Thunain, met with the director general of the Executive Office of the Council of Ministers of Labor and the Council of Ministers of Social Affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Mr. Mohammed Hassan Al-Obaidli, who is currently on a coordination tour before assuming his official profession early next month. The meeting was held at the Ministry's headquarters in Riyadh and in the presence of several ministry leaders.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Deputy offered congratulations to the Director-General of the Executive Office, wishing him success in his new role. He also discussed the achievements and initiatives recently launched by the ministry in the labor market.

The meeting also discussed enhancing the role of the Executive Office in the upcoming period to serve the interests of the labor markets in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and achieve their objectives.

It is worth mentioning that the Executive Office serves as the technical arm of the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council and was established in 1978 in the Kingdom of Bahrain to support the Gulf joint work.
