His Excellency the Vice Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Labor Sector, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abu Thaneen, held a meeting at the Ministry's headquarters in Riyadh with Her Excellency the Minister of Labour and Skills Development of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Ms. Muferihat Ahmed, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides.

The meeting dealt with developments in bilateral relations between both countries in the labor field and issues related thereto. In addition to enhancing the level of cooperation and transferring it to new horizons within the scope of the labor market.

Furthermore, the meeting also reviewed the Kingdom's efforts in the labor sector and its pioneering role in protecting and preserving labor rights in the Saudi labor market, in addition to the labor market strategy and policies, as well as a number of programs and initiatives related to organizing the sector and protecting the rights of labors.

It is worth noting that this meeting came after the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development announced the reopening of recruitment from the Republic of Ethiopia last March.
