His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, received today, Monday, July 15, 2024, at the Ministry's headquarters in Riyadh, His Excellency the Filipino Minister of Migrant Workers, Mr. Hans Leo Cacdac, and a meeting was held between the two sides in the presence of a number of officials from both sides.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Minister Al-Rajhi welcomed His Excellency the Filipino Minister, as the visit is the first to the Kingdom after his appointment as Minister of Migrant Workers. During the meeting, the two sides discussed topics of common interest and issues related to bilateral cooperation between the two countries in their endeavor to move the level of cooperation to new horizons in the field of the labor market.
At the conclusion, Minister Al-Rajhi invited the Filipino Minister to participate in the second edition of the International Labor Market Conference, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from January 29-30, 2025, in Riyadh.
It is worth noting that this reception comes within the framework of the Ministry's plans and ongoing efforts to develop its strategic relationships and partnerships at the local and international levels, to achieve its targets within its scope of work to serve the Kingdom and enhance the common interests of all partners.
