وتأتي الزيارة في إطار الاحتفاء باليوم العالمي لكبار السن، بهدف تسليط الضوء على هذه الفئة العمرية واحتياجاتها الصحية والنفسية والاجتماعية، ورفع الوعي بحقوق كبار السن وأهمية الرعاية النفسية والصحية لهم، ورفع مستوى الاهتمام بمكانة كبار السن.
