The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has successfully concluded the Parallel Training Initiative, aimed at enhancing the skills and competencies of women in the labor market. As a result of this initiative, more than 122,000 job seekers benefited from specialized training programs designed to ensure their sustainability in their jobs in private sector establishments. The programs included more than 800 topics in personal and specialized skills, delivered through strategic partnerships with more than 70 training entities, which contributed to the issuance of more than 280,000 graduation certificates for the beneficiaries.

The initiative also succeeded in achieving high continuity rates for beneficiaries in the workplace, with 78% of female employees continuing to work for at least 12 months.

The results of the Parallel Training Initiative showed a direct impact on the private sector, with more than 46,000 companies and institutions from various economic sectors benefiting from this initiative, providing new job opportunities for qualified female citizens with the skills required in the current labor market.

The initiative also included support for diverse segments of society. 3,660 beneficiaries with disabilities benefited from specialized training programs that helped them enter the labor market. 2,440 beneficiaries from social security and 1,220 beneficiaries from care homes also benefited from this initiative.

Finally, the Parallel Training Initiative is considered a pioneering model in investing in women's capabilities and increasing their participation and sustainability in the labor market, contributing to enhancing their competitiveness and opening new horizons for them in various sectors, in line with the ambitious Saudi Vision 2030.
