
His Excellency Engineer Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, is heading the Saudi delegation participating in the ministerial committee meetings for (Civil Service, Social Affairs/Social Development, and Labor) of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states. The meetings began today and will continue over September 3-4, 2024, in the Qatari capital, Doha, with the presence of their Excellencies from the Gulf countries.
These meetings will discuss several topics related to civil service, social affairs/social development, and labor to enhance joint GCC cooperation. This is the twentieth meeting of the Committee of Ministers of Civil Service, and the tenth meeting of the Committees of Ministers of Labor and Ministers of Social Affairs/Social Development.
Coinciding with the meetings, there are accompanying events where His Excellency Al-Rajhi participated in a ceremony honoring pioneering projects and individuals in labor and social development/social affairs, as well as distinguished competencies in the civil service sector.
The significance of these meetings stems from the GCC countries' efforts to strengthen cooperation and joint work in labor, social development, and civil service sectors to keep pace with global changes across various levels and fields.
