The HRSD, represented by the Labor Market Policy Agency, in collaboration with King Abdul Aziz Center for National Dialogue (KACND), held the 3rd dialogue workshop 2023, in collaboration with government and labor representatives, entitled: “Government Legislations and Policies - Visions and Prospects”, in the Center’s headquarters, Riyadh.
The 3rd workshop agenda highlighted the topics of the Social Dialogue Forum for this year, which addressed the investigation of occupational injuries in the Social Insurance Law, the procedural services provided for employers and employee, and how much they can be benefitted from, along with contract authentication program process, and the investigation and handling of their challenges.
Besides, attendees discussed and reviewed the revision of the legislations regulating the works of labor court in terms of the types of lawsuits filed to them. They also clarified such courts’ jurisdictions in the lawsuits of contracts and the Labor Law and the mechanism for litigation to resolve labor dispute.
Besides, the workshop brought together the government delegation representatives from relevant authorities, represented by: (The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD), the Ministry of Justice, General Organization for Insurance (GOSI)), together with representatives for employers from the Federation of Saudi Chambers.
