Under the auspices of HH Vice Minister of Tourism, Princess Haifa bint Muhammad Al Saud, and HE Vice Minister of Human Resources and Social Development in the Labor Sector, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abu Thanain, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development signed a joint memorandum of cooperation (MOC) with the Ministry of Tourism.

 The MOC aims to activate and strengthen joint work between the two parties, achieve the goals of the National Tourism Strategy and contribute to promoting tourism and raise the welfare of society, through strategic cooperation in Saudization, raising tourism human capabilities and qualifying them for the labor market. The MOC also included cooperation between both parties in promoting non-traditional working patterns and training graduates of the tourism sector for the labor market, through the training and qualifying programs of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, and preparing awareness-raising activities and programs to sustain job opportunities for the tourism sector.

It is noteworthy that the HRSD is seeking, through entering into such agreements, to reach the highest levels of cooperation with all agencies and institutions in various sectors, in order to realize the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
