The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development signed a memorandum of understanding with the Abdulrahman Al-Obeikan Charitable Foundation. The signing was attended by the Chief Executive Officer of the Sakhaa Program, Engineer Abdullah Al-Assiri, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Obeikan, in the presence of the Deputy Minister for Social Development, Mr. Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Majed.

The memorandum of understanding aims to coordinate joint cooperation between both parties for the purpose of establishing and operating the project of Makkah University for Science and Technology, which includes the following specializations: Administrative Sciences, Sharia and Law, Computer Science, and Information Systems in the city of Makkah. The project will be included in the Sakhaa Program to support community development.

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development seeks, through the Sakhaa Program, to support the implementation of qualitative projects with economic and social impact in various fields, in collaboration with several government entities, in line with Saudi Vision 2030. This is achieved by enabling community participation and providing a range of operational, economic, and social incentives.
