The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development signed a joint memorandum of understanding with the National Development Association. The Ministry was represented by the Assistant Undersecretary for Rehabilitation and Social Guidance, Eng. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Hadithi, and on the part of the Association, the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Abdul Rahman bin Saad Al-Shalwan.

The MOU aims to enhance joint work between both parties, support the social responsibility of the individual and society, and achieve the strategic goal of the Ministry by providing aftercare for the beneficiaries of the Anti-begging office in Riyadh, activating their participation in programs and events, developing their capabilities and training skills in cooperation with accredited training centers and involving them in the labor market. The MOU also provides for the opportunity for beneficiaries of aftercare to apply for soft loans for those wishing to start small projects.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry for Rehabilitation and Social Guidance, Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Wahibi, pointed out the importance of such partnerships that contribute to developing the services provided to the beneficiaries and raising their quality, which would contribute to achieving the Ministry's goals.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development seeks, through concluding such agreements, to reach the highest levels of cooperation with all agencies and establishments in various sectors to achieve the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
