مجلس شؤون الأسرة والوقف العلمي بجامعة الملك عبدالعزيز يوقعان مذكرة تفاهم لإثراء قاعدة بيانات الأسرة والطفولة

The Family Affairs Council and the King Abdulaziz University Endowment ‘Waqf’ signed on Wednesday a memorandum of understanding on exchanging family and child database to carry out scientific researches that serve the community, conduct studies and provide statistics, in addition to developing KPIs that achieve sustainable development. The signing ceremony was signed by Dr. Halah bint Mazeed Altuwaijri, secretary-general at the Family Affairs Council, and Dr. Essam Kawthar, CEO of KAU Endowment. According the MoU, the KAU Endowment is responsible to conduct studies and offer family and child consultancy, create executive programs and impact-driven initiatives for children in Saudi Arabia, develop performance indicators and monitoring tools and utilize modern methods and technologies in support of researches and KPIs. Additionally, the KAU Waqf will list and review statistics, studies and researches at the local, regional and international levels alongside child and family regulations, offer recommendations on proper conduct in the Saudi society, issue related reports on a periodical basis and organize forums, symposiums and workshops in order to discuss family issues along with creating National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement. On the other hand, the Family Affairs Council is tasked under the MoU to study programs and initiatives provided by the KAU Waqf, offer support as an official umbrella for the outcomes of the memorandum as well as extending cooperation with local and international organizations in a bid to achieve the objectives of the memorandum. The MoU allows both entities to organize special gatherings, launch community initiatives that close gabs between families and children, strengthen cooperation with the aim of enhancing result-driven programs and services and provide innovative solutions that overcome challenges and cater to development needs in the field of child and family. Meanwhile, the council aims to empower non-profit organizations and achieve utmost impact through forming partnership that ensure integration among entities and raise effectiveness as per Saudi Vision 2030. KAU Endowment is a modern Waqf organization that serves the community through supporting studies and researches and launching awareness and innovative initiatives aimed at developing society in various scientific, social, economic, health and environmental fields according to the standards and the priorities of the society.
