"العمل والتنمية الاجتماعية" تنظم ملتقى التوظيف الرابع لدعم مستفيدات الضمان الاجتماعي

The Ministry of Labor and Social Development (MLSD) recently organized the fourth edition of Career Fair that targets employment of female social security beneficiaries in the retail sector which was held at the social security office in Riyadh, a move that comes within the ministry’s efforts in supporting the female beneficiaries. In cooperation with retail shops, the General Administration for Social Empowerment of the ministry aims through this career fair to support women, make them financially independent, and turn them into productive individuals through providing job opportunities and empowering them to join the labor market. Additionally, the career fair linked the beneficiaries with entrepreneurs and the private sector whose HR specialists conducted job interviews and received CVs in order to employer female job seekers based on their job preferences and their conditions with taking into account the job requirements required by the sector. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shafiei, deputy minister for social security at MLSD, said the ministry seeks to organize such forums that offer jobs and empower the female beneficiaries to size these opportunities instead of seeking social security payments. Al-Shafiei added it goes hand in hand with the MLSD’s efforts to create jobs and empower women in the workforce, in particular those who benefit from the social security program in a bid to improve their living conditions and provide decent life for them, which achieves one of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
