H.E. Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Development Dr. Abdullah Abuthnain met with Director-General of the International Labor Organization Mr. Guy Ryder on Tuesday, which came on the sidelines of the 332nd Session of the ILO Governing Body held from 12 to 22 March in Geneva. At the meeting, the two sides explored several topics of common interest and ways to enhance and develop cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the organization. Dr. Abuthnain addressed the outcomes of the previous meeting held between H.E. minister of labor and social development and the director-general of ILO, stressing the Kingdom has worked on several pathways and various programs to regulate the labor market and empower Saudi men and women in the workforce as per the ambitious plan of the National Transformation Program that stems from Saudi Vision 2030. The meeting was attended by H.E. Saudi ambassador to the UN in Geneva Mr. Abdulaziz Alwasil, and ILO's Regional Director for Arab States Dr. Ruba Jaradat.
