The Saudi National Committee of Workers Committees organized the Second Annual Forum of Corporates and Workers Committees on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 in Riyadh. The Forum was attended by Vice Minister for Labor Sector H.E. Dr. Abdulla Nasser Abuthnain, the Chairman of Saudi National Committee of Workers Committees Eng. Nasser Aljaryad and a number of CEOs and leaders of major companies in the private and government sectors.
H.E. Dr. Abdulla Nasser Abuthnain stated that the role played by the Workers Committees in getting people together and to exchange experiences contributes to the dissemination and enhancement of the workers' culture and the stability of the work environment at private sector establishments. He explained that holding forums and meetings would promote effective communication between members and help overcome challenges and achieve future aspirations.

The forum, in which  more than 31 government and private entities participated, included discussion panels that reviewed the experiences of Workers Committees in improving the productivity of workers. It also included an exhibition to illustrate the roles of Workers Committees in the labor market, in addition to honoring a number of participating entities.
It is worth mentioning that the Ministry is interested in doing everything to improve and develop the labor market, in accordance with its labor market strategy intended to support and enable the private sector and provide it with the necessary tools to promote its growth and enhance its attractiveness.
