Vice Minister for Labor Sector H.E. Dr. Abdulla Nasser Abuthnain, held a number of high-level bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the Global Labor Market Conference, at KAICC in Riyadh, on Thursday, December 14, 2023.

Dr. Abdulla Nasser Abuthnain met with H.E. Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction of Uzbekistan Behzod Musayev, Minister of Employment, Labour and Social Security of Sierra Leone Mohamed Rahman Swaray, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia Narek Mkrtchyan, Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation of Libya Ali Al-Abed Al-Rida, Minister of Labor of Palestine Dr. Nasri Abu Jaish, First Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Kazakhstan Akmadi Sarbassov, Deputy Minister of Employment and Labor of South Africa Boitumelo Moloi. He also met with the Regional Director of the International Organization for Migration Othman Belbeisi.

During these bilateral meetings, Dr. Abuthnain welcomed and thanked the guests who came to attend the Global Labor Market Conference at the invitation of Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi. The meetings also included discussions that covered various topics pertaining to the labor sector, with a focus on ways to enhance cooperation to the benefit of all parties involved.

The meetings reflect the Ministry's commitment to fostering relationships and facilitating the exchange of knowledge, expertise and best practices in order to effectively tackle the challenges encountered in the labor market.
