The Ministry of Labor and Social Development (MLSD) and its affiliates have been implementing the target nationalization program in various regions of the Kingdom, which is in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Commerce and Investment, Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and the governorates of the regions.
The ministry added its affiliating entities have provided training and rehabilitation support in a bid to nationalize certain sectors along with offering e-training programs via the ‘Doroob’ platform that prepares the youth in various industries and providing technical support and incentives to those who want to set up businesses.
Additionally, they are keen to conduct career fairs that meet the needs of employers and job seekers through utilizing the national labor gateway (NLG), provide inspection support, monitor nationalization decisions in cooperation with the nationalization committees on the ‘target nationalization’ program, as well as supporting transportation for the working women through the ‘Wusool’ initiative and offering children hospitality centers through the ‘Qurrah’ initiative.
Meanwhile, MLSD has recently signed serval memoranda of understanding with a number of governorates of the regions aiming to increase the contribution of the national cadres to the labor market, nationalize job opportunities in the private sector in a way that provides decent work for Saudi nationals and offer quality solutions that enhance productive and sustainable nationalization in the market.
