The Ministry of Labor and Social Development will implement in January 2018 health modeling for the total rehabilitation centers in various regions of the Kingdom, a move that improves health services provided to persons with disabilities.
Mr. Walid al-babtain, general supervisor at the ministry’s general administration for medical services, said on Tuesday this initiative is a methodology and road map to develop the health sector and offer health care at these centers in accordance to the scientific principles and evidence-based standards
It is in a bid to achieve effectiveness and efficiency in the field of health practices as per the National Transformation Program 2020 aiming at developing the health care, added al-babtain during a workshop that targeted coordinators of the centers
According to Mr. al-babtain, the goals of the new modeling seek to raise the quality of health care at these centers, sharpen skills of health specialists, unify policies and procedures in the field, improve health care services, lay out a job description for each specialty and standardize health models used in the area of health care.
