In the presence of His Excellency, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abu Thanin, the Ministry of HRSD signed a joint MOU with the world's leading learning company, Pearson. the Ministry was represented in signing by the Undersecretary for Skills and Training, Dr. Ahmed Al-Zahrani,  and Mr. Mike Howells, President, of Workforce Skills, signed on behalf of the company.

The MOU aims to promote cooperation between the two parties in the field of skills and training, benefit from the capabilities available on both sides, to promote the labor market, through the development of policies and legislation in the skills and training track. In addition to cooperating in the establishment of several initiatives, specifically the study of the current skill landscape in the Kingdom, in addition to develop its national framework in the Kingdom.

This MOU is part of a series of global partnerships that the Ministry is working on to develop its partnerships in the field of human capabilities as part of Saudi Vision 2030, and its strategy to support public agencies in preparing strategic training and qualification plans for human cadres.
