Spokesman of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development Khaled Abalkhail said 13 and 176 recruitment offices have faced permeant and temporary closure respectively as a result of the inspection rounds conducted since the beginning of 2017.

During the same period, the ministry suspended bank guarantees for 7 offices, stopped services to one company and issued 103 warnings against 28 companies found in violation of the executive law for recruitment and breach of contract, Abalkhail added

The spokesman urged the ministry’s customers to report violations relating to recruitment offices and companies through its official channels, pointing out those who get deceived by such service providers can file a complaint through contacting the customer center no. (19911) or at any of the labor offices found across various regions in the Kingdom.

He emphasized the ministry’s keenness to protect the rights of Saudi citizens, penalize violating manpower agencies and ensure interests of all involved parties, saying they can visit the Musaned website (https://www.musaned.gov.sa/) to review affairs of the domestic worker recruitment.

Abalkhail also stressed that the inspection campaigns and rounds would never lose momentum to check compliance of various recruitment offices and companies with the regulations and stipulations.

Meanwhile, the Musaned website is one of the ministry’s initiatives in the field of domestic labor that connects involved entities under one umbrella, as well as transforms recruitment services through providing several solutions that improve the work environment in the sector.

It aims to improve and develop the domestic labor sector in the Kingdom through coordinating between service providers and employers who benefit from Musaned’s services, in addition to offering creative apps and e-services targeting employers and recruitment agencies in the Kingdom and overseas, alike.
