H.E. Minister of Labor and Social Development Dr. Ali bin Nasser al-Ghafis met with Chairperson of the Committee on European Relations with the Arab Peninsula in the European Parliament Mrs. Michelle Alliot-Marie alongside her accompanying delegation on Monday.
At the meeting that took place at MLSD HQ, Dr. al-Ghafis welcomed the EU official and her high-ranking delegation that is currently visiting the Kingdom.
The delegation oversaw the programs and initiatives that are currently undertaken by the ministry as such schemes are in a bid to develop and regulate the labor market in the Kingdom.
Meanwhile, the minister of labor and social development and MLSD officials answered inquiries from the delegation concerning several labor matters.
The meeting was attended by MLSD officials, including Mr. Ahmed Al-Humaidan, vice minister of labor and social development, Dr. Abdullah Abuthnain, deputy minister for inspection and development of work environment, Dr. Ahmed Qattan, deputy minister for labor policies, and Adnan Al-Naeem, deputy minister for customer service and labor relation.
