وزارتا "الداخلية" و"العمل والتنمية الاجتماعية " تقران برنامج التوطين بالمناطق لتفعيل وتطبيق قرارات التوطين لتمكين المواطنين والمواطنات من فرص العمل

The Ministry of Labor and Social Development (MLSD) and Ministry of Interior have joined forces to approve and carry out the nationalization program in various parts of the Kingdom, a move that empowers Saudi citizens to work.

Other government entities including Ministry of Commerce and Investment, Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Public Security and General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) will take part in activating and implementing any decision relating to the program across the country.

The ministry said all involved entities agreed to start activating the joint action, implement and monitor nationalization programs in the labor market targeting all regions of the Kingdom and intensify inspection and nationalization efforts.

Additionally, a document for the program has been approved to support and enhance integration among participating entities, and to increase percentages of productive nationalization.

The program aims to prepare plans and implementation mechanisms that nationalize occupations of various sectors through focusing on the capabilities of each region.

It is in a bid to enforce related decisions and programs that empower the Saudi youth to embark on their careers and enhance public-private partnership which helps carry out those plans.

It strives to create a stable and suitable work environment and lay out motives and incentives that encourage the business sector in the region, leading to nationalizing job opportunities, the ministry said as well.

It also seeks to find suitable mechanisms that develop abilities, knowledge capabilities and skills for Saudi nationals, allowing them to be well-prepared in the job market, which is in cooperation with training and rehabilitation entities.

According to the agreement, the field committees are formed to launch around-the clock inspection campaigns and follow-up on implementing the nationalization programs in the region, ensuring nationwide coverage in terms of nationalizing sectors.

The committees are tasked to prioritize sectors under the program to furnish the region’s municipality with needed information that helps intensify efforts in inspecting and penalizing those who fail to conform to the nationalization decisions.
