MLSD bans 9 offices from recruitment, as 4 face cancellation of bank guarantee

The Ministry of Labor and Social Development (MLSD) has stopped licenses from several recruitment offices for violating conditions and rules of recruitment business as per Article 48 of the recruitment regulations.

The ministry said four recruitment offices faced cancellation of their bank guarantee because of their breach of contract, in addition to stopping electronic services against illegal offices.

MLSD Spokesman Khaled Abalkhail emphasized the ministry’s keenness to monitor practices of recruitment offices and companies and carry out field visits to their premises, ensuring their compliance to the ministry’s procedures. It makes sure that the licensed ones are committed to dispensing services to customers as per rules, Abalkhail added.

Meanwhile, the ministry seeks to supervise manpower agencies to make sure they hold licenses and practice recruitment in accordance with the labor regulations, ensuring quality of services provided to customers.

The spokesman pointed out the ministry banned nine offices from recruitment as well as denied them access to all services offered by the ministry and related entities because of their failure to conform to article 48 of the recruitment regulations.

The ministry stressed its concern to protect customer rights, ensure justice and observe public interest through implementing regulations and penalizing violators.

It called upon customers to report violations or submit complaints by contacting its official channels including customer service no. (19911), or visiting MLSD branches located in various regions of the Kingdom.

The ministry urged its customers to only deal with licenced offices and companies whose data is posted via the domestic labor website (Musaned) (https://www.musaned.gov.sa/.
