H.E. Vice Minister of Labor and Social Development Ahmed Al-Humaidan met on Thursday with Deputy Minister for Planning and Development of the Ministry of Communication and IT (MCIT) Dr. Mohammad Al-Mushiqh.

At the meeting that took place at the MLSD HQ in Riyadh, the two sides discussed ways to enhance partnership in the field of digital transformation between the two ministries as per the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 aiming to build a vital society and prosperous economy in the field of IT.

The vice minister presented to the deputy minister for planning and development the national strategy for digital transformation and its role in generating new job opportunities in the digital field and increasing growth of several sectors.

The two sides shed light on some experiences from other countries in the field of digital transformation as well as their achieved advancements in the field that have left profound impact on their societies and involved companies.

The meeting was attended by MLSD senior officials including Deputy Minister for Inspection and Development of Work Environment Dr. Abdullah Abuthnain, Deputy Minister for Labor Policies Dr. Ahmed Qattan and General Supervisor of International Labor Affairs Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Amr. General Supervisor of Digital Transformation Deemah Al-Yahya at MCIT was present as well.
