
His Excellency, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi visited the Makkah region on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 18-19, 2025. During the visit, he met a number of the Ministry’s beneficiaries and reviewed the development projects supporting and empowering them. He also witnessed signing a number of development agreements and launching development opportunities intended to enhance the social and economic empowerment of the beneficiary groups.
His Excellency initiates the visit with an inspection tour of the pavilions dedicated to displaying the works of orphans and beneficiaries, where he listened to an explanation of the existing projects and the efforts supporting them through development and empowerment programs. Moreover, he and a number of entrepreneurs benefiting from the Ministry's programs discussed methods to develop their projects and take advantage of the available opportunities.
Alrajhi witnessed the signing ceremony of a number of strategic agreements and partnerships between the Ministry and supporting authorities aiming to promote the integration among different sectors to enable beneficiary groups in the region and raising the level of their development participation. The attendees also watched a visual presentation showcasing the achievements of the Ministry’s branch in Makkah region for 2024.
In the framework of supporting housing stability, His Excellency, Alrajhi handed over the keys of housing units to a number of orphaned girls, as part of development housing programs, aiming to provide a decent life and enhancing the quality of life for the beneficiary groups.
His Excellency brought his visit to a close by sharing the Iftar meal with a number of orphans and beneficiaries, in a meeting embodying the values of social solidarity and confirming the Ministry's commitment to proceeding with the support and empowerment of beneficiaries to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in promoting sustainable development.
