The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has issued 568 decisions against several violators of the Domestic Workers Regulation and its equivalents. This comes after some employers allowed their domestic workers to work in establishments or permitted them to work for personal accounts. The relevant authorities in the Ministry detected these violations and, based on them, prepared indictments against the employers before the Domestic Workers Committees.
The penalties imposed on the violators included a ban on recruitment in (281) decisions, as well as fines through (287) decisions, as stipulated by the regulation governing such violations.
The Ministry emphasizes to all citizens and residents the dangers of dealing with or cooperating in any form with workers, who violate the regulations, in order to serve the public interest and avoid legal penalties. It urges everyone to report labor law violations through the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development's mobile application, available on smartphones, or by calling the unified number (19911).
