The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced the date for depositing the school bag and uniform support for the first semester for children of social security beneficiaries, which will be on August 18, 2024, to coincide with the start of the new academic year.

The Ministry clarified that this support complements the services provided to social security beneficiaries and their children, ensuring that their needs are met and helping them provide school supplies in preparation for the new school year.

The funds allocated for the school bag and uniform support will be deposited into the accounts of eligible beneficiaries. The support will cover all regular students in public education, aged between 6 and 18 years, who are registered in "Noor" system.

In addition to the basic pension, the Ministry offers a range of developmental programs that directly support social security beneficiaries, including food support, electricity support, school bag support, and the milk support program for infants (from newborns to two years old).

Through the developed social security system, the Ministry aims to establish the necessary measures to address the needs of the most vulnerable, ensuring a minimum income to meet the basic needs of each beneficiary by calculating the minimum pension amount and providing appropriate support. It also aims to offer social protection to beneficiaries, prioritizing those in greatest need and entitlement, and implementing mechanisms to ensure that they are assisted effectively.
