Today, His Excellency, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi, sponsored the ceremony honoring entities that achieved the highest levels of job engagement for the year 2022. The program is one of the targets of Saudi Vision 2030 to support human capital, enhance government performance, and foster innovation among public sector employees. The event was attended by several honorable ministers and representatives of government entities.

In his speech on this occasion, His Excellency, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, emphasized that one of the most important tools for measuring the work environment is the job engagement measurement tool. This tool measures the employee's satisfaction and loyalty towards their work, and it has been adopted as one of the indicators of the third level in Vision 2030. He explained that the targeted job engagement for the public sector in 2022 was 74.5%, and with the development and elevation of assessment standards, the achieved result surpassed the targeted measurement, reaching 76%. The aim is to maintain this high level of job engagement in the public sector.

He pointed out that celebrating the entities that achieved the highest results in the job engagement index in the public sector represents appreciation for the sincere efforts made by everyone to improve the work environment in their facilities. This is achieved by encouraging, training, qualifying, and developing employees, announcing the launch of the new cycle of the program, aiming to continue measuring and improving job engagement among government employees through developmental strategies that achieve the goals of each entity towards Vision 2030.

In his turn, His Excellency, Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdul Fattah Mashat, delivered a speech praising the winners, highlighting the role of the job engagement program in empowering employees to contribute to achieving targets and creating a work environment conducive to creativity and innovation.

Additionally, Abdullah Al-Kabir, Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Human Capital Development, explained that the job engagement program operates according to the methodology of the "Future for Us" index, based on high scientific foundations in the field of human capital research. It aims to measure employee needs in seven main areas: purpose, leadership, empowerment, collaboration, development, appreciation, and the nature of work.

Following that, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development honored the winners of the Job Engagement Award for 2022 in its three categories: ministries, institutions and councils, educational and training entities.
