The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development announced that over 9 million contracts have been documented through the "Qiwa" platform. This significant milestone emphasizes the importance of preserving workers' rights and providing a stable work environment that enhances employee productivity. It also ensures that establishments comply with labor laws, thereby reducing labor disputes and issues.

The Ministry urged all private sector employees, both Saudis and non-Saudis, to ensure the documentation of their employment contracts through the "Qiwa" platform. This documentation is crucial for protecting their rights and fostering trust between employers and employees.

The Ministry clarified that establishments documenting 80% or more of their employees' contracts will be able to fully benefit from the Ministry's services, including visa issuance, service transfers, and profession changes.

The "Qiwa" platform allows employers to upload and update contract information for private sector employees, while enabling employees to verify the accuracy of their contract data and either approve, reject, or request modifications through their account on the platform.

The contract documentation service is one of many electronic services provided by the Ministry via the Qiwa platform. This platform serves as the main interface for the labor sector, regulating and managing all transactions between system parties—employees and private establishments—in an automated and immediate manner without the need for paperwork. It aims to elevate the labor market by supporting establishments throughout their journey from inception and growth to expansion, and by guiding employees from their first job through to the end of their contractual relationship. The platform is supported by a range of services and tools that add value to this journey.
