The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development emphasizes that establishments that have not adhered to the Wage Protection Program shall comply with the requirements of the program and submit their employees' wage files through “Mudad Platform” to avoid imposing the penalties stipulated in the system.

The Wage Protection Program aims to reduce disagreements and ensure an attractive work environment in the private sector by following up on the establishments’ commitment to pay their employees on the due dates (Saudis and expatriates). The Ministry applied the latest phase of the program in 2020 for establishments with 1-5 employees after it began implementing the program in its early phases to large establishments with 3,000 employees and more.

Establishments can know and adhere to the program requirements according to the procedures described on the Ministry’s website or through "Mudad platform".
