The Ministry of Labor and Social Development said in a press release that it is being engaged in resolving the issues of Saudi workers whose contracts have been terminated following the end of projects undertaken by some manufacturing company in the Jazan region.
The ministry added it will work on providing job opportunities to them in other companies located either in the Jazan region or others.
MLSD pointed out both the ministry and the Human Resources Development Fund have formed a work team to directly offer job opportunities for Saudi nationals through the National Labor Gateway ‘Taqat’, as well as registering them under the unemployment insurance ‘Saned’ until they find suitable jobs.
The ministry emphasized that it will continue to follow-up on the matter with the Jazan Governorate and establishments as it comes within its keenness to make sure Saudi workers stay in the job market.
