
His Excellency, Engineer Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, launched the Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Jameel Award for Promoting Values on Sunday, November 17, 2024. The launch took place during a ceremony attended by the Deputy Minister for Social Insurance and Empowerment, Engineer Sultan bin Jaris Al-Jaris, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Jameel Charitable Foundation, Sheikh Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al-Jameel, the Vice Chairman, Ibrahim bin Muhammad Al-Jameel, and a number of other stakeholders.
During his speech at the ceremony, His Excellency Al-Rajhi stated: This initiative is the culmination of the numerous charitable works undertaken by the foundation as part of the national development of the sector. This year has witnessed developmental achievements for the foundation, including the creation of 11 technical systems that enhance the foundation's innovative business model, thereby achieving its objectives and meeting the needs of its beneficiaries. He emphasized that the foundation has multiple achievements, covering nearly all regions of the Kingdom, in 35 cities and governorates, exceeding 123 development projects, and more than 100 supported entities, bringing the number of beneficiaries of these programs to over 567,000 individuals across various developmental needs.
In the same vein, His Excellency Minister Al-Rajhi praised Sheikh Mohammed Al-Jumaih, stating:
The deceased was generous with the blessings bestowed upon him by Allah, dedicated to all forms of charity, and proactive in contributing to the development of his country. He dedicated his time and effort, as well as his wealth, to serving on the boards of numerous non-profit entities, which underscores his passion for giving and contributing to social development.
It is worth noting that the Mohammed Abdulaziz Aljomaih Award for Promoting Values is dedicated to honoring developmental initiatives and projects, and to fostering partnerships to develop the non-profit sector, starting from individuals and families and extending to entities and organizations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
