Today, Thursday, November 9, 2023, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abu Thanein, Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Labor, met with His Excellency Mr. Albert Shingiro, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation of the Republic of Burundi, at the ministry headquarters. The meeting was attended by several officials from the ministry on the sidelines of the Saudi-African Summit, which commences tomorrow, November 10, 2023, in Riyadh.
The meeting addressed the distinctive bilateral relations between the Kingdom and the Republic of Burundi, as well as topics of mutual interest aimed at enhancing labor cooperation.
Discussions also covered key initiatives and programs implemented by the ministry, exploring ways to support joint efforts to improve the quality of services provided and maintain the level of bilateral labor relations with countries exporting labor.
