His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for Labor, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abu Thanin, met today, Wednesday, February 28, 2024, with the Director General of the World Economic Forum, Mrs. Saadia Zahedi, in the presence of His Excellency a number of leaders and officials in the Ministry, on the sidelines of the Human Capacity Initiative Conference held At the King Abdulaziz International Convention Center in Riyadh, which began its work on Wednesday and will continue until tomorrow, Thursday, February 29.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Abu Thunain welcomed Mrs. Zahedi to the Kingdom, and the two parties discussed a number of topics of common interest, the most prominent of which was addressing the preparations for the special meeting of the World Economic Forum, which will be held in Riyadh next month during the period 28-29 April 2024. The World Economic Forum Jobs Federation was also discussed, and areas of cooperation between the Ministry and the World Economic Forum were reviewed, including opportunities for community cooperation in the areas of jobs and skills.

The importance of this bilateral meeting comes within the endeavors of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development to enhance cooperation with international organizations and bodies within the scope of the Ministry's work in order to achieve the common interests of all parties.
