Under the patronage of His Excellency the Undersecretary for Social Insurance and Empowerment, Engineer Sultan bin Jaris Al-Jaris, who is in charge of managing the work of the Social Development Sector, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development held a workshop for donor institutions interested in youth development. The workshop was under the Title "Opportunities for Civil Society Organizations in the Service of Youth Development” in the Presence of His Excellency, Mr. Ahmed bin Saleh Al Majid, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Community Development and several Representatives of Executive Leadership from Civil Society Organizations.

During his opening remarks, Al-Jaris stressed the importance of this workshop as a starting point for defining frameworks for cooperation in youth development fields in a way that serves the visions and aspirations of donor institutions. He pointed out that the Ministry is striving to achieve the ambitious goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in empowering youth and enhancing their active participation in the national development process and raising the contribution of the non-profit sector to the national product. The workshop covered a range of topics, including an overview of the youth development strategy, funding opportunities and partnerships for donor institutions with the General Department of Youth Development.

The Ministry is utilizing this workshop to achieve several goals including, raising awareness among relevant parties regarding the youth development strategy and its implementation plans, fostering stronger cooperation and partnerships with various entities working with young people across different sectors, and improving overall alignment and coordination within the field of youth development. Ultimately, these efforts aim to ensure the successful execution of the strategy's projects and programs, empowering young people and equipping them with the tools they need to achieve their ambitions and contribute meaningfully to building the nation's future.
