
On Tuesday, October 22, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development organized the Jazan Region Empowerment Forum under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Jazan Region, with the aim of qualifying and empowering eligible social security beneficiaries, and enhancing their ability to integrate into the labor market.
The forum came as part of the ministry's efforts to develop the capabilities of individuals, which contributes to enhancing their financial independence, in cooperation with empowerment partners from the government and private sectors, in addition to the non-profit sector, as part of a package of initiatives, projects and programs that contribute to enhancing the efficiency and productivity of the economy, and achieving sustainable development and decent living for all.
The forum included three main tracks that focused on providing beneficiaries with the skills and knowledge needed to achieve financial independence. In addition, the activities included training workshops in areas such as interview skills, vocational guidance, identifying career tendencies, as well as providing job opportunities, promoting business, and supporting entrepreneurial and productive projects, in accordance with the strategy of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, and based on its important role in achieving the goals of national transformation and the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030.
