His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmad bin Sulaiman AlRajhi, confirmed that the social responsibility indicators exceeded the targets of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, as the percentage of corporate contributions of total social spending reached 4.15 by the end of 2023, and the percentage of large companies that provide social responsibility programs to 65%, and the Kingdom jumped six ranks to 20th in the world according to the Social Responsibility Index.

On the occasion of the Kingdom's Social Responsibility Day, which falls on 23 March, His Excellency said that the achievements of social responsibility reflect the support and interest of the wise leadership, may God protect them, the integration with the private sector, and enhancing its participation in national development, pointing out that the most prominent of these efforts include issuing a standard for social responsibility under the name of the corporate guide, and launching the national platform for social responsibility, which enabled the private sector to contribute, as the value of corporate contributions exceeded one billion riyals less than a year since the launch of the platform.

He added that the ministry has worked to promote responsible practices for the private sector by developing a Social Responsibility Index for companies listed on the Saudi market in cooperation with Tadawul, adding that the Social Responsibility Strategy Index and Social Responsibility Identity were recently launched to unify communication, enhance efforts towards building a global identity, and organize the strongest international forums and conferences.

Minister AlRajhi pointed out that the Kingdom aspires to be among the top leading countries in social responsibility in 2030, and that this day will be a global day that contributes to highlighting social responsibility and its role in sustainable development.
