The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development held the Sectoral Skills Council meetings for the health and digital sectors. This comes as part of the Ministry's efforts to enhance skill levels across various sectors.

During the two meetings, the council discussed several topics, most notably the completion of the specialized skills framework for both sectors. This framework will contribute to identifying the skills required by the labor market and anticipating future needs for both sectors. Additionally, the "WAD" National Training Campaign initiative, launched by the Ministry as part of its training strategy in collaboration with the private sector, was reviewed.

It is worth noting that the Sectoral Skills Councils are one of the initiatives of the Labor Market Strategy, approved by Cabinet Resolution No. (254) dated 23/4/1442 Hijri. These councils work to enhance skill levels in priority sectors in the Kingdom by identifying the skill needs of these sectors, forecasting future needs, and aligning the efforts of the public and private sectors with the education and training system. The Sectoral Skills Councils consist of 12 sector-specific councils, managed by representatives from government and regulatory bodies, the private sector, committees, and the Federation of Saudi Chambers.
