The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced the commencement of the first phase of the "Professional Inspection" program in the Arab Republic of Egypt, in collaboration with the Egyptian Ministry of Labor. This involves twinning the skills inspection system between the two brotherly countries to enhance the competence of professional labor and improve the quality of professional services provided in the Saudi labor market.

In the first phase, the program targets five professional fields: plumbing, electricity, welding, automotive mechanics, and carpentry. The Ministry works to add more professional fields in the upcoming phases. This comes as part of the ministry's efforts to activate the program in several countries, following its success in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of India, the Republic of Bangladesh, and the Republic of Sri Lanka in recent months.

The Professional Inspection Program contributes to ensuring that workers possess the necessary skills to perform the profession they intend to work in before entering the Saudi labor market. The Professional Inspection Certificate has become an essential requirement for the recruitment of skilled labor to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for specific professions. It can be obtained from one of the accredited inspection centers in the worker's home country - before his arrival - following the successful completion of both theoretical and practical tests.

It is worth mentioning that this program is part of a set of other developmental programs all falling under the umbrella of "Professional Accreditation." These efforts reflect the Kingdom's commitment to creating a robust and attractive job market characterized by high flexibility, quick adaptability to changes, and the attraction of top-notch skills.
