The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development launched a strategy for technical supervision of non-profit organizations, which aims to enhance the developmental role of non-profit entities and provide an enabling environment that helps organizations achieve their goals effectively and efficiently and maximizes their developmental impact on society.

The tasks of the technical supervision strategy are summarized in spreading the culture of non-profit work and raising community awareness of its importance, monitoring and meeting development needs by encouraging the establishment of non-profit organizations and assisting applicants for establishment, in addition to organizing the technical activity by evaluating programs and projects, expressing opinions on dissolving and merging affiliated organizations and enabling non-profit organizations affiliated with it by following up on its activity, evaluating its technical efficiency, contributing to overcoming difficulties and organizing development events for it. In addition to the tasks of government support, which is represented in building capacity and enabling non-profit organizations to support and participate in developing services.

This strategy represents a qualitative leap in the process of technical supervision of the non-profit sector, as it seeks to achieve a positive transformation in the performance of this vital sector so that non-profit organizations become a main partner in achieving sustainable development and community service, within the framework of the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030 aimed at improving performance efficiency and developing the technical capabilities of non-profit organizations, which contributes to creating a more professional work environment, in addition to increasing the effectiveness of programs and initiatives provided by these organizations, and enhancing their role in serving the community.

It is worth noting that the strategy includes a set of initiatives that aim to improve the quality of services provided by non-profit organizations, in addition to enabling non-profit organizations and enhancing our contribution to meeting development needs, and strengthening partnerships between the public and private sectors to support community work.
