The event was attended by His Excellency Minister of Health Engineer Fahd Al-Jalajel and His Excellency Minister of Media Professor Salman Al-Dosary. The forum marks the beginning of the Sixth Saudi Family Forum, held this year under the theme "The Saudi Family in the Face of Contemporary Changes."

In his opening speech, Minister Al-Rajhi stated, "The forum contributes to maximizing the vital role of the family in building the individual, shaping their personality, guiding their behavior, and preserving their religious, national, and cultural values, as well as outlining their aspirations for the future." He affirmed the wise leadership's keen interest in the entity of the family and its role in society, and the government's contribution through the Vision 2030 of the Kingdom to enhance the cohesion of families in the face of contemporary changes.

He highlighted the collaborative efforts in completing the National Framework for Child Online Safety, prepared by the Family Affairs Council with experts from the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). He noted that the framework provides a five-year national plan for child online safety in the Kingdom, aligning with international standards.

Dr. Maimuna bint Khalil Al Khalil, the Secretary-General of the Saudi Family Council, clarified that this year's forum sheds light on the impact of contemporary changes on families and their members (women, children, and the elderly). This is achieved through a balanced presentation of the most prominent topics related to diverse local and international changes and the rapid digital revolution.
