"العمل والتنمية الاجتماعية": ضبط 227 مخالفة لقرار منع العمل تحت أشعة الشمس خلال 32 يومًا

The Ministry of Labor and Social Development (MLSD) detected 227 violations relating to the midday work ban decision from its starting date (June 15) till July 17.

MLSD spokesman Khaled Abalkhail said the ‘Ma3an Lil Rasd’ app received mostly reported violations relating to work ban under the sun as the remaining numbers of reports were handled through the ministry’s call center (19911).

The spokesman pointed out that the Riyadh region had the biggest shares of violations reported to the MLSD, followed by the Eastern Region. The other reports were coming from various regions of the Kingdom, he said in a press statement.

Abalkhail emphasized the ministry is committed implement the decision during the prohibition period through launching inspection campaigns and accepting reports on those who violate it.

The move comes within the ministry’s keenness to protect the safety and health of workers as well as prevent them against hazardous dangers, Abalkhail added.

He said the ministerial decision clearly rejects the employee’s involvement in work that exposes him to the direct sun from noon until three in afternoon occurring from June 15 till September 15.

The spokesman urged everyone to report midday work violations on dialing 19911 or contacting the ministry via the app which can be downloaded on smart phones.
