Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, His Excellency Deputy Minister for Social Welfare and Family Dr. Abdullah bin Saud Almaiql launched Thursday social care houses workshop in Nayyara hall in Riyadh, in the presence of Assistant Deputy Minister for Social Welfare Dr. Nayef bin Mohammed Al Sobhi, and Assistant of Director General of the Ministry branch in Riyadh for Women's social supervision Mrs Samha Al Ghamdi, and managers of centers for social care houses in regions.
The workshop was opened with a welcoming speech by Deputy Minister for Social Welfare and Family, in which he stated that the main objective of this workshop is to diagnose problems, obstacles and difficulties in social care houses, and recognize them, and work strenuously to address them according to scientific plans.
The workshop included a number of axes and working papers. From which, obstacles and challenges that hinder the achievement of proper upbringing for children, and challenges faced by houses to provide services and programs, and the proposals for programs and activities and new systems to support children integration into community, and the most important decisions with significant impact on children and that should be taken
