The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development proceeds with its efforts to develop digital services and promote the beneficiaries' experience. The "Virtual Branch" launched by the Ministry resulted in a qualitative transformation in service-delivery mechanism which enables individuals and institutions to easily complete their transactions electronically with no need to visit traditional branches. This has enabled improving the efficiency of government performance, facilitating access to services, and accelerating the completion of transactions.
The Virtual Branch contributed to a 93% reduction in the numbers of labor offices auditors within 23 months because the beneficiaries number decreased from 60 thousand to 3 thousand monthly. This achievement reflects the Ministry success in developing advanced technological solutions meeting the beneficiaries’ needs flexibly and efficiently, promoting the easiness of procedures and saving time and effort.
Via “Qiwa” Platform, Virtual Branch provides an integrated system of digital services enabling beneficiaries to execute many transactions electronically, such as issuing professional and temporary visas, renewing labor licenses, transferring labor services, inquiring about employment contracts and
submitting labor complaints electronically. Virtual Branch also provides the ability to book advisory appointments with Ministry representatives to discuss laws and regulations, ensuring the clarity and rapid implementation of procedures.
This achievement aligns with compliance of Human Resources and Social Development with the development of governmental services in line with Saudi Vision 2030 focusing on promoting the digital transformation and the improvement the services quality.
The Ministry proceeds the development of innovative technological solutions enhancing the efficiency of public sector and improving the beneficiaries experience, ensuring delivering unique services satisfying the objectives of both citizens and residents.
