The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development achieved first place among ministries and second place across all government entities in the 2024 Digital Transformation Index. This accomplishment was announced during the Digital Transformation Awards Ceremony held on Sunday, December 15, 2024, as part of the Digital Government Forum in Riyadh, which coincided with the 2024 Global Internet Governance Forum (IGF).
Additionally, the Ministry received a Certificate of Excellence from the Digital Government Authority for its "Mowaamah" application, dedicated to services for people with disabilities, in recognition of its significant contributions to advancing digital transformation in the Kingdom and enhancing its leadership in this domain.
The Ministry also earned Certificates of Excellence in employing emerging technologies across government entities as part of the Digital Government Authority’s awards.
This distinction highlights the Ministry's efforts and strategy in the field of digital transformation, aimed at achieving excellence and enhancing beneficiary experiences. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies, the Ministry provides innovative solutions that elevate the quality of digital government services. The Ministry’s digital transformation strategy focuses on enhancing services for the sectors it oversees, offering more than 1,000 digital services and procedures, benefiting over 32 million individuals.
