For the second consecutive year, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has been awarded the Global Project Management Excellence Award presented by the Project Management Institute (PMI), securing the "first place in the Social Projects category for 2023." This recognition is attributed to the ministry's excellence in volunteer work through the "National Volunteer Work Platform" project.

The National Volunteer Work Platform serves as the incubator for volunteer work in the Kingdom, providing a stimulating and secure environment for both volunteer opportunities providers and volunteers. Through its diverse services, the platform has enabled over 645,000 beneficiaries to engage as volunteers, with more than 363,000 volunteering opportunities available. The total registered users reached approximately 1.7 million, benefiting over 4,870 entities from the platform's services as of the end of October of the current year.

It is worth noting that the ministry is among the top organizations in project management practices maturity. Earlier this year, it achieved an advanced ranking in the first category, including the "Top 4 Organizations," in the evaluation of performance management practices in government entities by the National Center for Performance Measurement (Adaa). In the previous year, it achieved the fourth level in the assessment of maturity in project, program, and portfolio management (P3M3) by the British organization Axelos. These achievements reflect the ministry's continuous efforts to enhance its performance, governance, and operations in accordance with the best practices within its scope of work and supervision, aiming to achieve the targets of Saudi Vision 2030.
