The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development launched the "immediate calculation" initiative for national labor in the developer's Nitaqat program for establishments located in the green zone that are committed to the wage protection program, starting from May 1, 2023. This comes out of the Ministry's keenness to raise the percentages of compliance with the wage protection program among private sector establishments, raising their localization rates and their organizational stability.
The initiative targets establishments that are committed to the wage protection program for a period of more than six months, as well as those that recently raised their scope to the green zoon through the Developer’s Nitaqat Program. The wage protection program and the developer's Nitaqat program are among the most important pillars of the Ministry's strategic transformation, which is in line with the labor market strategy aimed at developing the market and raising its efficiency, through the commitment of establishments to pay wages at the value and time specified by the law. In addition to providing decent and attractive jobs for male and female citizens and increase their participation in the labor market and achieve the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
