The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development signed a memorandum of understanding with the (Tawasul) Association for Assistive Technologies for People with Disabilities, and the Ministry was represented in the signing by the Assistant Undersecretary for Social Guidance, Eng. Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Hadithi, and on the part of the Association, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Amal Bint Sulaiman Al-Saif.

The memorandum aims to enhance joint work between the two parties, support the social responsibility of the individual and society, and achieve the ministry's strategic goal by improving the quality of life for people with disabilities, by providing electronic connectivity between beneficiaries of people with disabilities and service providers, and operating an online platform under the name (Hayat) platform, which will be an Arabic reference guide for all the knowledge and services needed by persons with disabilities. The memorandum also stipulates integration and cooperation between the two parties in aspects of implementing programs and initiatives and building strategic partnerships.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry for Rehabilitation and Social Guidance, Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Wahaibi, pointed out the importance of these partnerships in providing a distinguished experience for the beneficiaries, in enhancing joint work between the authorities, developing the social work system, and raising the quality of social services.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development seeks, through concluding these agreements, to reach the highest levels of cooperation with all agencies and institutions in various sectors to achieve the goals of KSA Vision 2030.
